As many of you may (or may not) know, the US Postal Service released the first Muslim stamps honoring the Islamic Holy Days of Eid.

President Bush sends Ramadan wishes on the White House website: http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/ramadan/2006/

This is also the only regular first class stamp endorsed by the President: http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/ramadan/eidstamp.html

As you can see it is a very nice blue with gold Arabic lettering.

Since this is the stamp that the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces seems to favor, did any of you do your duty and use this stamp to send letters, cards and packages to soldiers fighting in Iraq?

I used it on everything that I sent out this year. "Islam is a religion of peace," so says our President.

God bless America and God bless our President!

I think you are misinformed. The Eid stamp was originally issued iin October of 2001. It was re-issued as a .39 stamp in 1/06.

It's a rather popular stamp both with Muslim customers and with families which ship to APO/FPO's .
