I want to know how to tell a guy that I like him?

We live far away and we are still friends but he has changed a lot. Because I did not show him interest at our first meeting, he is seeing others which made me realise how much I do like him. The reason I could not respond to his interest was that I was too shy and nervous. Please help me with some ideas that I can tell him I like him.

observe and see if he likes you. then tell him or don't.

when there is nobody around you excepet you and him, kiss him gently and say i love you..
