Hi, i was wondering if somebody could possibly help me, i wanted to put either 2x 10'' or 2x 12'' 2000w subs in my car with 2000w amp, but on my friends cars they cant turn it up properly on the head unit because there standard door speakers go all muffled, is there a way that i can prevent this problem when i go to fit mine, do i need crossovers on them ? if so, how many do i need and are these easy to fit ?. thank you for your time, regards

Are u just hooking the amp up to the subs and running the mids(door speakers) off the radio? There are several ways. You can get higher quality name brand speakers and run an amp to those with a cross over, or u can cut ur fade up or down. There are many ways but more info would need to be need to help u out in ur situation.

Just run the subs on the 2000w amp and the buy a separate amp for the mids and highs. have all your door speakers ran to an amp no biger the 250w only if you have after market door speakers. You will also need to have 2 sets or RCA on the back of the radio or you will need to buy a spliter, hook it all up and your good to go.
