i heard the president of venezuela say this in a speech on the spanish channel and my boyfriend insists it is a bad word in spanish and i wasn't sure so i tried to look it up on google and it kept asking me if i meant another word but i didn't mean another word, so can anyone help me?

I pretty sure you're talking about pendejo which basically means asshole in spanish.

bandejos is not a word. Most probably the word is "pendejo". The definition of the word is "a pubic hair". In slang it denotes stupidity or incompetence.
Edit
change "ban" for "pen". Answers removes "bad" words.

Haha it means "to give on a silver platter" according to my Spanish/English dictionary. Well actually in there it was bandeja, but it was the closet thing. Hmm who knows ?

in the way he used it this a.m. it was meant as " those a**holes". i heard the same piece on my morning news show. & not that you need to know this but its spelled pendejos. its also used as butthead,stupid,that sort of way. but he said it to be a jerk this a.m.

not sure that you spelled it corectly but it baciclly means "assholes".
