I live and train here in edmonton, i have heard these two are fighting, who you hink is gonna win,
id like to know what they are planning with mike swick!?

This is a match-up put together by Dana White, Jason Macdonald has been walking through Dana's TUF guys and he is not happy about it, he was trying to use Mcdonald to build up his TUF fighters (Ed Herman, Chris Leben) and it didn't go accourding to plan so instead(Macdonald even went as far as to suggest he was the "TUF Killer") he is going to feed him to the former champ. Jason is a great fighter and said he wants to prove he is a top 10 fighter so here is his shot. Honestly I think Rich is gonna knock him out but if Macdonald is really as good as he thinks he is then we shall see.
Also there are rumors going around the MMA Forums that Mike Swick and Kendall Grove exchanged words and egos at a photo shoot and a fight between the two might be the works. I think Swick should fight Franklin and the winner a shot at Anderson Silva for the title.

The top poster has it right. Rob Mcdonald has been tearing up TUF guys that the UFC has been trying to build up and they're probably not all that happy about it.
Rob is a tough fighter theres no doubt about it, but I think Rich Franklin will be a little too much for him.
Right now Swick is being groomed for a shot at the belt. MMA weekly has it listed that Swick will fight Yushin Okami in his next fight. But I would really like to see a Kendall Grove - Swick fight, that would be very entertaining and it would pit 2 TUF guys against eachother. so lets hope that comes true.

I think Franklin will be the better striker. If i remember correctly, Chris Leben was winning the standup fight against Macdonald, but Jason is dangerous on the ground. Rich vs Jason will be a great fight, i cant wait. I'm going for Rich.

that will be an amazing fight, but I have to give the edge to Franklin. He has an awesome standup and is decent on the ground. wow, that will be a good one.
