This is exactly what i used to do and am now working on changing it. I started out by drinking juice in the morning and afternoon, and eating a main meal at night. Then, i gradually added small food items and am now eating a snack for breakfast, a snack for lunch, and a main meal for dinner, with juice in the morning and afternoon also. I hope to work toward eating three meals and three snacks a day, and as my new year's resolution, i hope it comes true!! Good luck!

Night is the worst time of day to eat a large meal. Try snacks such as raw vegetables, fruit, popcorn (without butter), nuts - all in moderation. Hot chocolate or fruit juice can be helpfu. too. Some people have luck with drinking extra water and/or hot tea when they have the muchies.

Unlike you, I never feel the urge to eat at night. It's always during the day =p.
Brush your teeth at 9PM or a little before your cravings hit. I never eat after I've brushed my teeth, I keep it minty and clean till bedtime.
Maybe it's 'cause I also put on retainers after I've brushed my teeth and it's just too much fuss taking out the retainers, eating, and then having to brush my teeth AND retainers all over again.
And uh ... there's always self-control ... just stay away from the fridge and don't put anything in your mouth!
(And don't starve yourself all day, that's horrible! It's better to eat nice, balanced meals throughout the day, and don't eat so late at night)

Oh! Me too! When I'm doing well diet wise and eating right, I try not to eat past 6 pm. For a while I would have a low fat hot chocolate if I got the munchies anytime past then. The warmth of it, and the fact that was sweet( and chocolate ) seemed to curb my hunger, and it worked well for me.

Good luck! :)

Make sure to eat a little protein with your dinner or as a snack before bed. You'll be less likely to get hungry during the night.

Just don't eat after a certain time. Or eat one meal at night a little while before you go to bed.
