I think that deep down they don't really have a good position. They just don't have any real facts on their side.

Because the Age of Pisces has ended and the Age of Aquarius has begun. Ages last 2000 years - and christianity has been characterized by the fish (even the Jesus Fish - also known as the Vesica Pisces) and pisces for all this time, and has flourished during it's age.
Now the age is over and a more free thinking spirituality is evolving and it scares the church if you ask me. I have been told that a "live and let live" attitude of tolerance is the single most dangerous thing to Christianity and it seems as though that is correct.
Of course Christianity is a juggernaut that has lumbered and danced through the age by bending and changing with the times in some respects. Certainly Christianity will linger in some form - but the old "My way or the highway" routine they have stuck with for so long is going to have to change if they are going to thrive.
Peace!

Christians are a people of peace but we are not door mats! We are not in a battle against the world but the world continually hates and persecutes us!! As an analogy I ask how many times will you allow a person to punch you in the face before you punch back? I know that Jesus handled things differently (HALLELUJAH!!) but Christians are still just human beings who try all our lives to be an example of our Savior but the truth is NO ONE IS PERFECT. When people leave us alone or simply tell us that they are not interested in our beliefs without all the anger and hate then Christians will have no reason or temptation to retaliate!!

Generalizing isn't such a good idea, specially in Y!A. I'm a Christian and I let people be. I do, however, correct or clarify when someone makes an unsupported or personal observation and delivers it as fact.
As for anyone who is not a Christian... doesn't bother me. We are all given free will to choose. In the Bible, we are taught those that hear His word can not be taken out of God's hand.
Remember... no two people are a like; even no two christians are a like. I've seen lots of folks that call themself Christian and are nasty, judgemental and rude. Doesn't make all of us like that.
Also.. some folks just want to stir trouble. Take everything with a big grain of salt.

True Christians believe in this scripture.....Micah 4:3 And he will certainly render judgment among many peoples, and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. They will not lift up sword, nation against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

it is a matter of self defense than aggression. The world doesn't like how we think and how Jesus taught because it changes their way of life. We have proven facts and its human nature to help yourself and not help others. also, the Bible is filled with rules about how to live and people don't like rules. no sex before marriage is a major that people don't like.
and what exactly is this "battling". from what iv'e seen in the world none of it is physical.

Christians are not battling against anyone. There are some full of zeal who want others to share their joy but on the whole you can ignore them with impunity.

i could think that relies upon on how huge your ego is. in case you sense which you do not would desire to thank your writer with the approaches that he has given you ie. your understanding, then you definately can stroll with the aid of useful many others patting your self on the back questioning that each physique which you have performed each thing with the aid of your self with out his help or decree. As a training Muslim i hit upon it incredible that there is this manner of extensive following rejecting the belief-approximately God simply by undeniable fact that we ie. mankind have been created with the aid of God to be examined in this existence as to the place our loyalties would desire to lie and are all going to die, then having to grant account to God for what we've performed in this existence. specific ones self (ego) has a factor to play the place the appliance of religion is worried ie. taking a company stance against doubt in faith yet you will desire to be humble sufficient my son not section out God from the equation for from God we got here and unto him is the return.

I don't know what you're talking about! Look at the barrage of questions we're trying to keep up with....it's not battling; just explaining, and defending is all.
