Aw don't break up with him because of that. Just try talking to him. It seems like he's just being extremely shy. Some people are like this so it's totally ok. I'm sure he'll open up to you very soon. Give it some time before you think about a break up. You sound like a cute couple, and I'm sure everything will work out. :)

Just pull him aside and tell him that your tired of him acting this way. Try finding out why he's acting like that and if he doesn't change then get rid of him. There is a lot more guys out there that will act like a boyfriend is supposed too.

Maybe you should try using some of his own medicine on him.I am now happily married to him,but before my husband and i started dating we had both just gotten divorced.Well his was more recent than mine,so you could say I was kindof loking to settle down alittle, and he was just breaking free.We did our little on off thing for a month or so,and then went our own way.Two yrs later i ran intop him at a bar.Instead of being the clingy thing i had been i just ignored him till it was time for a beer, and then i would go to him.As the night progressed he asked why i was ignoring him.Needless to say he's been by my side for 7 yrs now and we have a beautiful family.Good luck.Just remember, they need us as bad as we need them they just dont like to admitt it.

Move on...this will tell if he is the love of your life. A guy should respect you. If he is not acting like ur bf then its probably because he is ashamed of u...(no offense) so.. find a man that can respect you and would love to show u off to the world.. because that is what love is about.

Well sweetie, you, yourself have made a couple of mistakes. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ASKED HIM OUT! Not only was he your friend, but he's a guy. If he likes you or if he was ready he would have asked you out you wouldn't have had to come to him. So if he's acting like he's acting, he probably didn't want to go out with you but he didn't want to hurt your feeelings because he was your friend. I would dump him, and then wait until the right one comes around and don't worry, HE'LL ASK YOU OUT FIRST! Good luck babe!

communicate with him. obviously you're not trigger-happy to just break up with him, and you don't want to continue on like this, so your last option is to talk to him about it (cliche i know, but it's a cliche for a reason), being careful not to alienate, offend, or drive him away in the process. but at least you'll get a definite result.
trust me, definite results, even a breakup, are better than hanging in limbo (the worst torture).

for some reason, he is turned off when around you.
If he was normal, he ought to be all over you.
