So why do so many americans want illegal immigrantes out and complain how it's affecting the economy and how "its against the law", when they go breaking the law left and right every single day!?!? Don't give me more reasons, i'd like to focus on this particular one right now. I really dont think you care about the law, its just that you're big, stubborn superpatriots!! You will never admit youre wrong! I, too am an american, but Im still reasonable!

And you know its true! So many criminals, crooks and whatnot!

I completely agree with you, and to that girl who said that this is "her country" how about taking some history classes dear?? don't u know that this land ( about 75%) belonged to Mexico???? I don't understand how people can be so ignorant and just attack one ethnic group...Mexicans.... there are so many immigrants from different places that come here for a better future... to have the opportunity to work all day for not even the min. wage.....TRUST ME it wasn't our choise to come here, but if you are a fighter you will do anyghing for a better future for you and your family... ahhh one more thing.. the U.S does not belong to anyone anymore... we have people from all around the world living here.... ...YEAHHH THE MELTING POT.....

Because they are destroying this economy. They have driven wages down on jobs that were done just fine before they invaded to a point where the honest tax-paying American cannot survive and contribute to this society (pay taxes).

The easiest example is the health care system. These people show up at the emergency room if one of their 12 kids gets a cold. By law, doctors cannot turn anyone away. Guess who ends up footing the bill when the illegals don't speak a word of English (or pretend that they cant to get out of the bill) and cannot pay? Taxpayers.

Right now the cost is in the billions annually to supplement the services illegals are stealing from. Dozens of health centers and clinics have closed in my area, simply because they could not longer be funded. There go all of those jobs.

As the health care sector of the economy gets worse and worse, it will begin to effect other sectors of the economy creating a cascading effect that will slowly change the quality of life in this country. As the economy collapses, so will the middle class, leaving only the very wealthy and very poor.

This process will not happen overnight, but it will happen and has already started. You cannot blame the illegals for the majority of this problem either, you must look to the business sector first. These people are being exploited by the businesses in the United States to help compete with cheap European and Asian Labor. Other companys are simply greedy and want to pay the lowest wage possible.

This country must attack every single business that is employing illegal aliens (European, North American, Asian, etc) with huge fines and prison time for upper management. You cannot blame the ants for invading you kitchen if you leave food out overnight, that is what they do. You cannot only blame people (of any race)
for filling a need in a sector of this economy that should not exist. If the jobs are there, these ****** business owners will find someone to exploit.

I am tired of these rich fat pricks running this country. Our politicians are puppets and big business is holding the strings. Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, whatever. They are all scum.

ok think about it, there are reasons that some people are not allowed in and why some get kicked out, i personally believe that before anyone is allowed in any country to live they should know and speak the language but so many immigrants (legal or not) don't really care to learn the language. our country is barely supporting the people that are already here think about all the people that can not find or get jobs because they aren't available if we decided to accept everyone that would basicly mean we are supporting an entire other country mexico and mexicans should not be our responsibility when we are having a hard enough time supporting ourselves.

What laws are Americans breaking every day that you speak of? If your talking about something as ridiculous as jaywalking or speeding, then you are more helpless then i imagined. That being said, ANYONE who breaks the law, regardless of race, should be held accountable. Do a little research and see what is happening to America because of this. Or if you don't like to read, do a little travelling and see it with your own two eyes, i would bet you will have a much different opinion then.

Why should America change it's laws so that criminals can get a free ride? Spain didn't change it's laws when they had a immigration problem, they put up a fence and sent people back. No country can survive without LEGAL immigration, but no country can survive with ILLEGAL immigration

I am a girl that came to this country 7 years ago, learned English gave the only speech in my graduation ceremony, have 2 american children and a BIG will to suceed in this country. I truly believe WE all deserve the opportunity to show who we are and how we do know to do things RIGHT. Biggest misconception is to think that only illegal immigrants are thieves, criminals, men slaughters, etc.. sadly that happens in every society no matter the nationality or race; but there are people that have hopes, dreams, abide by the law but like me there is no way around it..the process to get a green card is too narrow and not everybody qualifies. I would love to be legal and have everything straighten out but even my lawyer gave up so please don't judge people for their immigrantt condition.. it's way beyond that. Thank you..AND JUST TO LET YOU KNOW AND TAKE YOU OUT OF IGNORANCE WE DO PAY TAXES!

I own my own home. I've paid for everything in it. If I trip and fall and spill something on my carpet, that's one thing. If an uninvited guest barges in and spills stuff on purpose, that's another. It's not ok for them to spill stuff just, because I did. If my friend comes over and her baby spills something...that's ok because I invited her in and with that invitation I take responsibility for those "accidents". As a gracious guest ,she would probably feel bad and even offer to have it cleaned.

We have a bunch of uninvited guests taking full reign over things that aren't theirs. They have busted in and taken the privalages ment for the citizens. They are destroying it and don't even have the decency to face up to their part in this fiasco and have shown no desire to help anyone but their own, at the continued cost of everything else. That's why. There's a nasty attitude that makes law abiding citizens not too willing to want to be subjected to any more of it. A total lack of respect for anything. They have abused any right to demand anything anymore. Speak the language and abide by the law. That's all anyone has ever asked.

Since when did this become an immigrant vs. white issue? This is exactly where most go wrong...generalizing EVERYONE thinks, acts, and does the same thing as his/her fellow immigrant/citizen is not going to help any. You will find positive and negative people in america of all races, as well as in the different immigration status.

Instead of trying to figure out who is right and who is wrong, we should take a personal step in making this an even greater country that it already is.

Americans want immigrants to come to this country LEGALLY. How would it be right to allow thousands of illegals to stay when we have made so many of those now here legally do it the right way? How would it be fair to you if we made you learn English, reside here for so many years and take a test to become a citizen, but we let your next neighbor stay, just because. And if I were starting over in a new country, I would be darn sure I didn't start my new life as a criminal.

To be fair, it is indeed against the law to enter the country other than through the federal immigrant process.

However, I think it is mostly fear that has them upset, a completely irrational fear.

A fear of something different basically. An irrational fear of someone being able to speak in a language you can't understand in your hometown. It is truly ridiculous.

If you are mad that immigrants get better healthcare than you, I would complain to your employer or the government...its not the immigrants fault they have better benefits than you. And its your own fault for staying in a job that gives you subpar benefits.
