there are more atheists in the religion and spirituality section than religious people?
btw- i am one of those atheists.

Actually it varies from day to day. A few months back someone posted a survey question and it worked out to about 50/50 with a slight lean towards the religious.

yeah there are a lot. That and politics and society and groups or whatever have the most people who 'declare' themselves....the battle lines are tense =) but that's what I like about it. It's funny the lengths people will go to to heckle each other, or try to prove some outlandish and half baked point.

In the UK that's the kind of ratio we're used to. I'm pleased there are so many American atheists too. Was it always the case that it was the hollow vessels that made the most noise?

Not sure why. What's ironic is that the believers aren't better behaved than the Athiests. Isn't that kind of weird?

Eh..More like 50-50. There seems to be as much atheists(modern satanists, agonostic, atheist) as Theist(christians,muslims,etc....).

It kind of seems that way to me, too.
We also get a lot of jokers in here, people that ask weird questions just to be funny.
