Now you mentioned which you have been Indian? Is your mom classic? replaced into she born in this u . s .? you ought to be coping with slightly way of existence ask your self besides because of the fact the old"I not at all want my infant to enhance up " ingredient.if that is so you're able to enlist some kinfolk. each and every so often they could are available available. in case you haven't any longer have been given success there, there are consistently beautiful long skirts and dresses.i particularly think of we are the only u . s . that makes a great deal on the leg shaving ingredient. good success. and characteristic a great college year! I told my mom that a lot of my friends were shaving and want to know if I could too. She said yes. No need to be embarassed, its a normal part of growing up and you should never be ashamed of your body. Women learn to take care of themselves at a young age and everyone your age is probably going through the same thing too, so take a deep breath and just blurt it out.

Do not worry. Tell your mom, cause when you go through puberty there are a lot of things your going to have to tell her. Ask her to take you to the local walgreens to buy a safe razor for beginners. (P.S. An battery powered razor with the no nick fuction is perfect for beginners, and have you mom near you the first time you shave)

How old are you? I didn't start shaving my legs until 7th grade. It's really nothing to be embarrassed of... just tell your mom the hair on your legs is making you uncomfortable and you are ready to learn how to shave them.

tell her you feel you are ready to shave your legs. it is embarrasing but if your mom shaves her legs also she might understand. tell her you will buy the razors, too (if you are desperatly losing the argument. she will understand. she will also be proud that you are growing up and even though its cheesy it will help you bond and prepare for more embarrasing events in the future

Just bring it up to her. You're going to be shaving your legs a lot from here on out, so you have to get over it and used to it.
Plus becoming a woman is going to hold a lot more "embarassing" things to have to go to your mother over.
Just open up and be okay with it. Your mom isn't going to judge you. She's there to help.
Good luck hun!

Well, I am about your age(in 6th grade) and I just asked my mom to shave and she hesitated. But, then she said sure. You should'nt be afraid to ask your mom anyways. I mean come on she is your mom. Plus, she has ashaved her legs too.

I actually wouldn't suggest starting until your 13, but if you're that old or older, don't be shy to ask. I had to d it myself too, but i'm happy i did. It's important for young girls to be able to talk to their mom's, especially when it's uncomfortable. The more you do it, the less embarrassing. Just ask and don't think about it :) Good luck!

don't be embarrased - Mom's love teaching their daughters stuff like this, and she'll be proud to see her little girl is ready to take this step towards becoming a woman!
You can even start off the conversation by saying "Mom, I'm a little embarrased about this, but...." that way she knows to keep your feelings in check.
Good Luck!

I know it's an uncomfortable subject. All you need to do is get her to ask you if you are ready. Just drop hints like: I wish my legs weren't so harry, and my legs feel so harry. That kind of thing.
