This past summer i dyed my hair red..HUGE mistake..so my hair dresser tried to dye it blonde and a darker blonde but now its like orangey blonde, like a gross color. My roots are dark brown and my eye brows are dark as well. I was wondering if by dying it dark brown it would like cover the red left in my hair and the orange tinge?

If it looks bad now... What can you lose if you died it a dark brown.

I think the brown would cover up the red, i usually have an auburn tint to my hair and blonde highlights, so when the blonde grows out I do a brown color, and have never had a problem. Good luck. If you still have concerns about it, at least call a hair dresser.

I would say the best thing to do is go to Sallys Beauty Supply and get a semi-permanent color just a shade darker than your roots. Don't use permanent because it will damage your already chemically treated hair. Semi-perm. doesn't contain the harsh chemicals perm. does. It will fade out after about 6-8 weeks but you can recolor it again w/ a semi.-perm color again.

Good Luck,

Go to sally beauty and ask for a small tube called "unred" it works well. Just as it to the dye before puting it on your hair. Its only .99...it'll change the color of the dye a crazy color but it won't effect the color of the dye.

It should work, at the worst you'll have a tiny red tint to ur hair but it shouldn't matter much. besides, if u dont like the brown dye job just have it grow back to its natural color

yep it sure will... and considering your roots and eyebrows are dark, darker hair will probably suit you more anyway.
