I am thankful for all men and women serving anywhere in the world both past and present. I don't care if you served while we were at "peace". You were willing to fight for our country and that is good enough for me. A big heartfelt thanks goes out to all who have served and those who are currently serving. I pray for God's mercy and blessing on you and your families daily. Without your service, I may not have the freedom to pray. Again, THANK YOU!

Of course we support our troops no matter where or what. You do know that we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? Liberals ?! The military has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. Civilians have the luxury of not knowing what the military knows: that the Iraqi war, while tragic, probably saves lives. And the military occupation of Iraq, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! Liberals don't want the truth because deep down in places they don't talk about at parties, they want us on that wall! They need us on that wall! the military uses words like honor, code, loyalty. They use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. Liberals use them as a punchline. The military has neither the time nor the inclination to explain itself to a liberals who rise and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that the military provides, and then questions the manner in which they provide it! They would rather you just said, "Thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, the military suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post.

HELL YEAH!!! Oh and to bettysdad. The only way I've seen liberal supporting our troops is with pay cuts. I think that it is ironic that 75% of the people in the military are republicans including myself.

Yes, I support our men and women in uniform regardless of the mission. And yes, I've supported the mission in Iraq, although something has gone horribly wrong, but I'm not going turn my back on those who are there.

oh yeah!!! I support our troops out there because they are all out there just following orders. They do as they are told. I support the tireless efforts our loyal troops in all their endeavors. I just think that we should be a little more stern and let people know we mean business.

I support and have the utmost respect for those men and woman who would make the ultimate sacrifice for a cause that may not be agreed upon in our country. My Grandfather fought in WW2 , my dad and 2 uncles in Vietnam....ALl Marines and all very proud , no matter the politics....BUT, I do not think risking the lives of our youngest generation in order to gain control of Oil is acceptable...
