Sure when the parents are together, but what happens to all that support when they just can't get along. Then what happens to the father child relationship. When all it takes is the mother to say no. Then what leg do you have to stand on.

Well you have a very negative outlook on family life. My husband is a happy healthy part of my sons life. And we both work to support him. I'm not really sure what you are asking. There will always be situations out there where the parents are immature and Fathers as well as Mothers can be taken advantage of.
I think that generally both parents make an effort to be there for their children, emotionally and financially.

My daughter and I live with her father, and I am engaged to him, so her daddy is a proper daddy who spends time with her and provides much more than financial support.
It all depends on the man as to what kind of father he is going to be.

You have every right to bring this in to court and tell them how you feel. My boyfriend had this situation when I first got with him 3 years ago. and now he has joint custody and physical placement of him I would suggest to you that you do that tell them you want to be able to do fatherly things with your child and have quality time with your child let them know that the mother will not let you have this time when you ask for it. record all conversations you have with her so she can't denie it in court that is what we did she said she never said things like that and we submitted the tape and she almost got held in contemp for lying to the judge. If thier is no order saying that you can not see your child she has no right to denie you i hope I have helped you. If you have any questions about what I wrote feel free to contact me.

a man makes himself into the type of father he wants to be. My daughters father has chosen to be one that gives us money every once in awhile.
