You betcha! That is my church, my home, my spiritual renewal right there. For me, it's being on the river or in the forest.
It's amazing isn't it?
This question did a lot for me, thank you for reminding me how awesome it all is :)

all alone in the woods preferably close to running water I lay perfectly still and meditate and observe until about an hour after the wild life forgets I am there, and this gives me energy for a weak. Sometimes if I get really into it, it seems like the woods breathes, and I am not the only one who has felt this. I had a college prof which taught the class how to do this.

For me a motorcyle ride through these amazing canyons close to my home does that. Riding a motorcycle puts you in a position where you're much more connected to the land, and air and everything around you than you will ever get in a car - it's a great feeling.

I know what you mean, but I don't think it's an external thing. It's internal de-stressing, a way of stepping out of our normal lives and worries. I grow my own veg, and a day tending the plot, wandering around, having a chat, no mobile phone, no meetings does me the world of good.
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Emotionally, it helps to get away to nature but litery I haven't experienced that. I love the beach too and it is one of my favorite places.
Physically, a good nights sleep and good food helps.

Universal Energies are everywhere. That's what the world and everything is made of, including us. That's why you feel so energized in nature, it's an extension of you.

You bet. I have a greenhouse and it keeps me perky during the drab winters. Although I live in a temperate climate, I grow a lot of tropicals outside in the summer. It's our very own botanical garden.
