It is flirty, it's a little more mature than when you were on a playground and the guy you liked would hit you because he liked you. Now he's closing your locker. You haven't stated if you like him or not back but if you are aking for help I would assume there is a slight mutual attraction. Play back if you like it, have a little fun with him and if you really like him flirt a little bit harder back! Have a good time girl but be carefull, guys like to take advantage of girls.

Sounds like it could be the start of something. Ask him if he wants to hang out, do something fun that isn't really technically a "date" and see what happens. Give the guy an opportunity to take it to the next level. If it happens great.
