If you include your wife on the insurance, the insurance company can take into account that you are married. Married people (both men and women) are statistically safer drivers. So your insurance payment goes down as a result.

If the spouse that is added has their own car and ncb then their good record is taken into account and they are seen as a lesser risk and will drive your car some of the time thus reducing the risk say by 1/3rd so the insurance company will give a better quote using those odds. But sometimes it works the otherway too and its more expensive. It all depends on what the underwriters decide the risks are.

A lot of people are assuming you are male but I don't know that for sure. It is cheaper for both to be on one insurance than both having individual insurances. Your spouse could have a longer or better record than you? Who knows.

Insurance companies base rates on odds; each year, they look at the number and cost of claims from years prior, and look for trends.

If your insurance company lowers your rate if you add your spouse, it's because their historical data shows that people with spouses both on the same policy have substantially fewer claims (or less expensive claims) than people with only one person on the policy (who are statistically more likely to be single, as most married couples share a policy.)

i'm happy to work out it is your mom and dad vehicle no remember if that is them that want the recent vehicle i became extremely pleasantly bowled over that as quickly as i bought a Toyota Avensis i theory it may be extra high priced to insure than a Peugeot 307sw yet not so it became a lot extra maximum not expensive. you will possibly desire to examine the tax engine length to bodyweight & working expenditures too because of the fact greater engine automobiles could be extra maximum not expensive by technique of not working at finished stretch with extra effective MPG and don't positioned on out so rapidly as a small vehicle pulling heavy a lot around. Please rigidity heavily the insurance is severe on your age group because of the fact which you do have extra injuries for that reason inflicting the insurance companies to pay out which of direction they bypass on.

You can't drive it at the same time can you. She is probably a lower insurance risk than you.
