If so, what's with all the hunting lodges there. How do people hunt there?

We hunt with rocks and sometimes fire on sticks. It's pretty hard to find fire up here, but if you are lucky, you will be able to eat that day.

NOT true - We can own guns (rifle, shotguns), but we have to register them (if you want to be legal). Concealed weapons are another ball of wax. you need a permit to carry and you must demonstrate that it is required for your work or in some cases your safety. The rules are a lot stricter than in the US. Bacground checks are carried out and they are very thorough, any excuse and your permit is denied.

Yes, Canadians can own guns.

The gun registry was done away with, Canadians are no longer required to register guns.

Hand guns are not allowed, except for collectors, and those who need it for their employment (law enforcement), in which case they need to be registered, and are strictly regulated.

Rifles and shotguns are allowed, without registration.
