I recently bought some of those gumballs you put in those machines, the mini ones. I just realized how much sugar each piece has. About 2g. The whole thing is 2.2 grams. And those things are addicting. I cannot stop eating the sugar. I chew it until the sugar is drained out and I get some more.

I have about 30 or so pieces easily. I feel different when I eat so much. Is that too much? What can happen to me?

Careful with that sugar, sugar! What you may be experiencing is a sugar spike then crash, which makes your body crave more sugar to get that spike again. It's a vicious cycle.

Simple carbs like refined sugar are very quickly absorbed into the blood stream. That's what gives you that burst of energy. But it also keeps other important nutrients from getting to your body because the body metabolizes only what it needs and stores what's left over.

What can happen to you is you can gain weight, you will be hungrier (mostly carbs) more often to keep feeding that craving for more carbs and it can affect your mood.

Just keep in mind that yeah sugar is in gum and candy, but its also in things like ketchup, lunch meats, breakfast cereals, soda (that's a big one) beer, wine, bread and more. Its all on the ingrediants list on packaging. High Fructose corn syrup is just another name for sugar.
Eating so much sugar in one sitting is probably wreaking havoc on your teeth.
