Some say it everyday, some rarely, some don't. It's a guy thing. Also, if you two live together, wouldn't it be better to say it in person everyday instead through texts?

Well does he say it... That should count for something. If no...A lot of guys need some time to feel comfortable enough to admit to the love emotion. Give him time.

..if you live together, just use the text-ing for something important..like, "dont forget to pick me up".....better off telling him you love him to his face...
