that a hard question! I think she would say seeing us all happy and knowing that we did our best on anything we tried.

This will sound like a terrible answer, but the best thing that ever happened in my mother's life was that after years of abuse and cruelty of all kinds she finally managed to leave my father and buy a place of her own and live independently.

I lost my dad. And he told me that the day he had his children was the best day of his life. So be assured your mother's best day was when she held you for the first time. I know now as a mother of 2 and one on the way how this feels

I'm sure my mother would say it was having 5 children - she has been a great mom to us all.

I would ask her, but the worse thing happened to her a few months ago when my older brother was killed - I will make sure I ask her one day.

Im sorry about your loss i lost my best friend 4 yrs ago (my mother) with cancer and i never asked that question but i know if i had of done it would have been marrying the man that was her soul mate, lover and very best friend and having me and my sister who she was like best friends to not only a mother, and seeing her daughters happy with children.

and the reason i know she would say this is because she lived for her family it was always all for one and one for all in our family. i miss her just like i bet you miss yours but one day we will meet them together.

im not sure if you believe in things like this but i bet your mother is watching over you now and feeling just as proud of you like the day she gave birth to you and i bet your the best thing that ever happened in her life hun.

Any woman's greatest achievement in life is having her children and then raising them to be decent people.

I'm sure you are a credit to your mum hun, and I'm sure that she can see all the things you have achieved in your life too.

Be strong and be happy!

I'm sure without doubt that she would say having her children. My mum had us 4 girls and she has plenty of ups and downs, but us girls are the happiest things times she has

I'm so sorry about the loss of your mother.

And to answer your question, my mom says the best thing was having me and my brother.
