my boyfriend and i were supposed to go to scotland with his family to watch celtic play. they all dtropped out due to various reasons (money etc) so we decided to save our money for our holiday to tunisia later this year. then my boyfriend decided to go see celtic on the match day and fly back same day. and told me as i don't really like football there was no point me going, now he's after telling me he's booked it for four days instead of the previously agreed one. so its back to the original holiday just me not included. i'm so mad i feel like dumping him and would love other poeples opinions

Hmm........I can see your point. I would never want to go anywhere without my wife, or if I was single, my girlfriend. I feel that there is more to this story than what he's telling you. Have a heart to heart talk with him.....and go by your 'gut instict'. Best of luck to you.......

Well there's no doubt he totally ditched your holiday to go on his own. Now it's all just a matter on what you can do about it. When he gets back, ask why he booked it for four days, not one, knowing that the holiday you were supposed to have together was on that same day, and why he didn't tell you that he booked it for four days in the first place. Also, express your feelings towards his decesion. If he becomes overly defensive, arrogrant and/or mean. Dump him.
He knew of your plans together, therefore he has no excuse or reason to have ditched them for his own.

If he nevertheless won't pay attention to reason call up his daughter or perhaps her mum and see if any of them can talk experience into him.

That's heartbreaking! I feel for you-I just experienced a strange encounter that reminds me of your problem. Most times these are signs your being replaced but don't jump the gun yet. Maybe he needs space from you, time to think. If he begins new habits which doesn't include you then give him space and prepare to heal for what's coming.

Dear Lausboz,

This "boyfriend" is definitely a "boy" but not much of a "friend." My advice is to lose him because he is definitely a conniving louse. If you take this, the treatment will only get worse. Stick up for yourself, get free, and replace him with someone better.
Hugs and good luck!!

Maybe that was the whole intention from the begining him going by himself. Ask for an explanation if he avoids you dump him. You should have some respect from him for changes your plans.

There is nothing like being in love or lust to cloud your objectivity.

What do you know about this guy? He is deceitful, dishonest, insensitive, does not keep his word and his family flakes out, at best. I suspect there is even worse that you do not know about, nor you would want to know about.

So, would you want to disappoint your unborn children with a father or family like this? Save yourself for someone who appreciates you. Trust me. A man that loves, appreciates and cares for a woman knows how to show it.
