Go to your doctor. There are many reasons for pain and chronic pain can be controlled to some degree but you need trained people to help you.

Try buying a firmer mattress because the fact that it is every time you wake up is an indication that the cause of the problem is when you are in bed.
If you are not a very active person try gentle exercise to try and strengthen your back, normally if you have strong stomach muscles then they help support your back. If you haven't exercised for a while try swimming - it works all your muscles and will not put excessive strain on any body areas.
If the symptoms persist then visit your doctor.
Hope this helps - back pain is a terrible thing!

Go to the doctor - those symptoms are quite general. I would say it was a herniated disk/sciatica since you're saying its in your legs (my mom has that) but i am just a highschooler not a medical professional so definitely ask a doctor (one who will take you seriouslY) you will probably have to get an MRI scan

Visit your doctor, so you can have a thorough check up. I also think that you are probably using the wrong matteress and/or wrong pillow, so you might want to change those, too.

Try placing warm compressors on your back. Also, if you are cleared by your doctor and given the okay, I think swimming, tai chi or yoga can be a great benefit to your back.

Go to see your doctor. Probably a pinched nerve, but your Dr will be the only one to tell you and prescribe the right course of treatment (even maybe massage helps). It could well be related to stress, so don't get upset if the Doctor asks you along the lines of your lifestyle at the moment (recent changes, house move, marriage, death, divorce, etc.)

Of course you have seen a doctor about this, right? I mean, we can't help you without a lot more detail, and this sounds serious. I have trouble when I get up especially, too, but I'm going to be 60 next birthday, and I chalk it up to "creaky joint syndrome," since I do not use the A word. (I can say "Voldemort" without flinching, but I can't say the A word.)

You seem to be pinching a nerve in your back. Perhaps you need to change your sleeping postion.

Go and see a doctor or a physiotherapist.

That happens to me - it feels like all my internal organs have shifted position overnight.

I have no idea what causes it, although I have noticed that it's worse if I've been lying on my tummy.

Any chronic and persistent pain should be reported to your doc though, if you haven't already.
