HHHMMMMMMM.....
sounds like u really love this girl huh?
my advice... next time 1 of these "douchbags" hurt her u teach them a lesson IN FRONT OF HER!!!!!! im not saying to fight them, im saying u defend this girl, and take her out for some ice cream, or hot chocolate (depending when u do this, summer or winter!) opefully its summer... because when most girls get hurt, they reach for the nearest ice cram they can get!!! also when u do take her out to where-ever, DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT COME ON AS IF U LIKE HER!!!!!!!!!! coming on to a "just-a-friend" person whos on the rebound... the worst thing u could do!!! comfort her, and when the time is right... well, i'll tell u this... u know what to do... (and if u didnt catch my drift... i meant to tell her how u fell) she WILL be a little shocked at first... but then again everybody would! so when u tell her, dont come on too strong!!!!!! back off a little, and let her mull it around in her head... and she will deffinatly respect u... tell her "we'll always be friends, but if u dont like me like that... i understand..." AND WALK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! im not saying to give up... i mean to phisicly walk away and let her think about it, then if she's as good of a friend as u think she is, her heart will be so full of guilt that it will make her think of all the good times you have had together, and she will connect the dots and realize she loves you too!!!!! and the worst that could happen is that she would not accept u like that and u move on... u will always be friends, 7 years counts for something!!!!!!!!!!

Tell her how you feel. Ask her out. Do something special for her like take her out to a nice restaurant and pull out her chair for her and things like that. If she doesn't want to be more than friends and you have a good solid friendship, you can always go back to being good friends. Take the risk and ask her out....you know her really well and do genuinely seem to want to make her happy. But make sur eyou ask at the right time. Don't ask her out if she's just broken up or sad over a break-up as she might just go with you on the rebound. I think it will work though if you have known eachother for so long.

have you ever told her how you feel? Maybe shes interested too, but because she has been involved with so many douchebags she is scared. It cant hurt to be honest with her the worst that can happen is she says she doesnt feel the same. If she is a true friend then she will still be there.

Well, it sounds like you are very intrested in this girl. She is back in town. Call her and ask her out on a date, and give her a romantic dinner, and tell her what you are feeling about her, and even when she leaves to go back to college, don't just put her aside in your mind, write her all the time, tell her how beautiful she is, send her little card letting her know you are thinking about her. i am sure she will fall for you. But don't rush too quick or she will automatically think you are in it for the sex...

First things first....You have to make sure that she is feeling you the same way. You have a choice to take a chance and just let her know how you feel or continue to be the BEST friend you can be. I am a person of action and usually reach out to see how they feel so I won't go through life wondering, "What if...". I have had great times dating my FRIENDS. Go for it!

Wait for the moment when you are both joking around and everything just stands still, you both grow serious, and kiss her.
If that doesn't happen, ask yourself if you want to put your friendship on the line and tell her the truth or live with the status quo and just be friends.

Go with what feels right. If you think telling her that you want more would possibly break up your friendship, and you couldn't handle that. Then I would say, stay friends! But If it feels like it could happen, why not? Good luck!

You've gotta tell her how you feel. As much as we'd like for you to believe otherwise, women can't read minds. Who knows, maybe she's wanting more from you, too, but is afraid she'll ruin the friendship if she says anything.
