I have a great recipe for toffee apple pie, but the recipe says to use shortcrust pastry. I don't have the time to make it, and I'm horrible when it comes to crusts. Are there brands that I can buy, or could I just get away with using a good ready made regular pie crust?

Oh, I'm from NYC, so if there are any brands, could they be local ones? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what "shortcrust" is... if it's regular ol' pie crust pastry, yes, you can find them in the frozen foods asile near desserts. If it's "shortbread cookie" crumb crust, you can find that on the baking aisle, Keebler makes one... HTH
