there might be less charity groups because a vast majority of charity groups that feed starving families in africa, like the heifer project, are christian based. but i agree, it probably wouldn't be that different. and i'm a christian.

-mara: Great question. The world would be pretty much the same without Christianity, barring the fact that God, in His plan for the human race could never be possible. If that were the case, God would have never created Adam and Eve in the first place; therefore, it would be a non-issue for any of us today. God has a "hands off" policy with the earth and only intervenes where it is necessary to fulfil His plan with the best interests of humans in mind for the ultimate future. Once we have learned our lesson in this life from exercising our God-given gift of the right to be wrong, and have brought the earth to the verge of total destruction, Jesus Christ will return and a New earth will be installed for all of us (every human ever, born), to inhabit and we will then, be a planet [universe ?] of "Christians". Have hope for the future for God will bring His purpose about for all of us.
P.S. When Stalin ruled Russia there was no religion - no Christianity no nothing allowed. Stalin being an atheist murdered millions of people in his quest for a "religious-less", Marxist idealology ! Where is Russia today, imbibing of a Capitalist idealogy, at least in part, where Christianity can be observed in the Russia of today. All societies without God, ultimately perish ... a fact of history !

I would disagree. The church, though there are plenty of negative things to say about it, also has done a lot of goo things. It was the church that was the center of learning for several hundred years following the collapse of the Roman Empire. Without them, much of what we know about the ancient world would have disappeared. During the lawlessness of the Middle Ages, it was the church that provided a measure of justice and stabililty, blunting much of the madness and bloodlust of the time. You still would have had the rise of Islam, I think, and without the uniting power of the Church, all of Europe would have been muslim land, so the notion that people would do whatever they want I think is incorrect.
Yes, I think without Chistianity, the world would have been a very different place.

For those that believe in the Rapture, there will be a day when there are no Christians on this earth. Reference 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18. After this happens though, the Judgment of God is close behind. Reference Revelation 6-19. It is the wrath of God unfolded in these judgments upon the unsaved that are alive during the Tribulation period.
Please seek salvation before it is too late. Repent of your sins and trust Jesus to save you.

Oh yes, the world would be very different. WE would have destroyed ourselves and this planet years ago without God trying to intervene and show us the way. All the evil of the world would be so multiplied that all would be liars, cheats, adulterers, rapists, murders.. you name it. BEcause the reason we dont do those things is because of the God that places good within us. Even the ones that wont accept Him, if they have good, God gave it. Whether they ever acknowedge it or not. God sends good, and the devil sends only division, sin and destruction and eventual death and seperation from God forever, in torment of hell. SO, for your own good, please start studying scripture for yourself and praying and asking God to reveal truth to you. Once you die or Jesus comes, its to late to change your mind. You must accept Jesus to be saved. No other way. and hell is not something I wuld want to take a chance on. I will pray.
If you look around you and see the percentage of awful, picture what it would be like if we were all like the ppl you hear about doing all that awful stuff. Praise God, that some ppl will still stand for Him, even if we are the minority. God wants us to have a life of joy and peace and love, and no pain. In Heaven, God says there wil be no more pain, no sorrow, no tears. Dont you want to be there? Beats the alternative....

i find it very amusing that a question which was directed towards "Christians" is being answered by so many people that arent christians..... is it that u cant read? or is it that u want to take every opportunity to make fun of the very religion you are so deathly afraid of ??? i mean dont get me wrong you have every reason to be afraid..with the whole hell thing and all...but look at the bright side...there is a ray of hope for you through Jesus Christ...just read it for yourself... (John 3:16)
Anyway, to answer your question..allow me to give you a brief description of what The Bible says the world will be like without christians....
rev. 13:15
and he (Anti-Christ) was allowed to give breath* to the image of the beast (Satan), so that the image of the beast( Satan) could even speak and cause those who would not worship the image of the beast (Satan) to be killed.
Rev. 13:16-18
The Anti-Christ shall cause all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17so that no one can buy or sell who does not have the mark, that is, the name of the beast (Satan) or the number of its name. 18This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a person. Its number is 666...
Thank God that all of these terrible things will happen when Christians are removed by God to reign with him forever.... but to those who remain God says.....
rev. 14:9-11
Then another angel, a third, followed them, crying with a loud voice, ‘Those who worship the beast and its image, and receive a mark on their foreheads or on their hands, 10they will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and they will be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image and for anyone who receives the mark of its name.’
and to those who think that this will never happen to them God says.....
2 thess. 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one is apparent in the working of Satan, who uses all power, signs, lying wonders, 10and every kind of wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion, leading them to believe what is false, 12so that all who have not believed the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned.
But dont take my word for it...read it for yourself...and for those who may be to lazy to do so God says...
1 thess. 5:2-32
For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3When they say, ‘There is peace and security’, then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labour pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape!

I don't want to be here if there are no christians. I wouldn't have anyone to talk about my lord. But don't worry, when Jesus comes to get us christians, we will be gone and the antichrist will be with you. Of course it explains in the bible that you will be here for 7 years, the first half will be great for you but the second half will be awful. But if that is what you choose, I just hope you will have a change of heart before that.

I believe that if we never had Christianity, at least 90% of all the wars would not have happened. That being said, I believe in Jesus Christ and try to follow Him, so I am glad that we do have it. I think this was a good question.

Maybe a lot less guilt-inspired crimes? I'm just guessing here.
I also think that if there wasn't Christianity, there would be another religion in its place. Call it what you will, religion is all about control, not only of the self, but of all, so that the religious CEOs can have all the power. Hmmmm...... just like today.

Honestly, there will always be •••••s in the world that will muck it all up for the rest of us. However without the mind virus of Christianity available to spread this sort of behavior around and make it acceptable i believe things would be alot better off.
