God isn't cruel. He would have to exist to be cruel. God is merely non-existent. All the crap that happens can't be blamed on God, because God isn't around.

The perfect situation the way we see it, is not always the perfect situation as God sees it. Maybe God wanted you to see what a wonderful person she is so you could be there for her when she found out this grave news. How selfish of you to think only of yourself and your needs. You have an opportunity to share Gods love with another and you are judging her already before she even knows the results. And even if she did have it, she is still a person that God allowed you to be with. Who are you to tell God He is wrong for His decision for you just because you don't understand it. If anything I would be thankful to God that she was ever in my life in the first place and gave me such joy. God certainly wasn't the causer for her getting HIV if she has it, but He sent you to be there for her and the first chance you get you turn your back on her.

I will not judge you. I will encourage you just as Jesus would.
Why don't you have faith that is wont turn out positive? Use your greatest weapon against the Devil: prayer. Faith surpasses all understanding. Trust God. God's will is peace and health and blessings. And if it IS Positive, pray that that sickness is cured. HAVE FAITH!
Is ANYTHING too hard for the creator of the universe who loves you more than anyone could ever comprehend?
Thank God for everything! Thank God for that woman! Thank God for your troubles!
"In this life you will have troubles, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world!"
-Jesus
Just give it to God man. Pray. Read the Word. Get some worship tapes. Get encouraged. See her healthy. See her test negative. Have faith. Go to a good church. Use your authority and stomp all over the devil.
...Maybe God has something BETTER!

Let me get this straight, she "might" have HIV and you are blaming God? Why don't you praise and thank God for the amazing blessing he's given you? You don't even have the results back and you are freaking out.
What will worry get you? Nothing but ulcers and sleepless nights. You can't change the results but you can pray.
You can pray for her. Image what she's going through if she has no idea. Pray for comfort and peace. Pray that God would heal her for his glory.
You have taken the focus off of God and put it on yourself. You aren't even thinking about what this will do to her.
Perhaps getting on your knees and asking for forgiveness would be in order? Being selfish and self-centered is an unbecoming characteristic.

This is theodicy, a.k.a. "the Problem of Evil" which is the problem of reconciling a universe in which evil (or, at minimum, undue suffering) exists with a god who is omnibenevolent (all-good), and omnipotent (all-powerful).
A summary would be: why do good things happen to bad people and why do bad things happen to good people?
When disaster strikes, either at a large-scale or personal level, I see it to be evidential that no god such as the one of Abraham could exist. For every answered prayer there is an unanswered prayer from someone who is both more pious and more needy. For every one who thanks God for helping him pull through a nasty disease or for not living in a disaster area there are others who pray and believe just as much and yet die of disease or have their lives destroyed by a hurricane.
Those who made it through Hurricane Katrina, for instance, were "counting the hits and not the misses". Yes, they were fortunate to survive the disaster or come out of it with some essence of their livelihood intact, but the hurricane still hit them in the first place, and it would have been much better if there was no hurricane at all. It's like that childhood gimmick of pushing someone and then grabbing them to make sure they don't fall and saying "Saved your life."
The great majority of people living in New Orleans said their experience with the hurricane strengthened their faith in God. I find this to be analogous to living with an abusive and unstable father.

Oh, God let this happen? lol did God sleep with her? No my friend, you not only blame God for what He didn't do, you give Him no room to perform a miracle for you.
Did you and she get on your knees and thank God for each other when you found out? Did you thank Him for the life you've already had and thank Him in advance for a miracle? Did you even wait to see if He had a miracle in store for you?
You blame God a lot, but take none of it on yourself. Your finances were your fault, your life in shambles is your fault, not God's. This girl did not give you direction, God did. You blame God for what He didn't do, and don't give Him credit for the things He does do for you.
He sends you a lovely woman and now you don't know what to do? Jeesh, I'm so glad I'm not God, I'd be mad at ya about now lol. Good thing He's God and sees past all that :)

There is always a God no matter how things go bad. If she has HIV regardlessly be grateful you met this woman who u said that changed ur life. U said God helped alot but remember God doesnt do all the work for u. He only helps u out when he feels its nessary and doesnt when he thinks u should solve it on ur own. It has nothing to do with jokes or cruelty.

Man, you're really selfish. How do you think your lady feels? God doesn't rain down bad things on people, but God can sometimes pick them up when they're down.
I have AIDS, so I can relate. But, God didn't do that to me. The guy I had unsafe sex with and didn't inform me he had it did that to me, along with me making the choice to have unprotected sex with him to begin with.
I was raised in the church, and I am always amazed how quickly the most zealous and pious people always seem to be the fastest to blame God when something they can't handle happens to them.
Maybe God was blessing you by showing you, early, that there may be a problem. And you should THANK GOD that you're negative, and if you were truly a follower of God, you would extend your compassion and understanding to this woman, who was willing to take a blood test for you.
Grow up!

Having faith means understanding that EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Maybe it is a time for you to learn forgiveness - or compassion. Maybe it is a time for you to learn about your intuitiion - or whatever - I don't know. what I do know is that everything is exactly as it should be at all times. And if we choose to see things as bad or evil or generally screwed up - that's our choice.
I used to think like you. I would blame God for the bad things in my life. I called God "HE" - and humanized It. I would pray by yelling at It. Now I know that everything happens for a reason. I know that God is LOVE - and it's my job to find God in the middle of everything. It's always there. We might not see It right away - but It's there.
Prayer is nothing more than finding the goodness in yourself that you need in order to get whatever you are praying for. Please pray. And I will pray for you too.
Namaste!

I think most people who have answered this were not paying attention to your question.
Anyway... Look, dude: Life is tough but don't blame it on God.
God created a perfect paradise for us to live in and topped it off by giving us complete and painless imortality, then we (through Adam and Eve) sinned against God.
When we did this, the entire universe fell into decay - including our bodies.
God gave us the free will to chose life or death, and we constantly choose death.
Then God even sent His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO DIE FOR OUR SORRY ***'S and we still choose death.
Oh, you say that you choose life? Nope.
If you REALLY chose life you would be on your knees in prayer, and you WOULD READ YOUR FRIGGIN' BIBLE!
The secrets of the universe and all things is held in that little forgotten book called the Bible.... when's the last time you picked it up.
You would not be here asking questions like this if you just read your Bible.
But don't listen to men, listen to God... READ YOUR BIBLE!
