I should have pointed out that she does not love him anymore and that she told me she wants to leave him, but I don't know if she considers me as just a friend or has interest in me.

Well, thts kind of tough, but its happened to me before. try to think of an excuse that you are giving her the gift for, like a birthday or a holiday. maybe find out what kind of music she likes and get her a cd of her favorite artist. make her feel appreciated and let her kno that you love her in small steps. good luck bro.

Is this a "Go out with me instead" gift?
Or a birthday/just because gift?
Find out something she really likes that her boyfriend will not be getting her. Anything "romantic" is a bad idea as she may avoid you in the future to avoid her boyfriends jealousy.
Girls like it when they think you know what they like, so find out her favorites in music and non-romantic foodstuffs.

if she's with somebody else and she is happy--leave her alone.
you will not impress her if she truly loves the other guy.
now if there is trouble between the two and you know it---hmmm then you might have a chance. if this is the case,send her some
flowers. (not roses, too corny) send something like tulips or something exotic.

OUCH!!! no good answer try to get something that shows that youve taken an interest in her her favorite bands CD or a cool book some perfume she loves something she told you she liked and didnt expect you to remember

Your friendship is the only gift you can give her as she is with someone and any other type of gift would complicate her life and could cause her misery....and you don't want to hurt her so just your friendship is all she needs.

It would depend on whether or not the man shes in love with knows about you or not. And if you REALLY love her or not. Is this for her birhtday or whats the occasion? If you buy her something personal it might get her in trouble, is that what you really want?

Find out her interest, especially ones that her mate doesn't observe or appreciate. Also something her boyfriend can't afford would be nice or either something you and her can identify with, you know.. something special between you and her.

A good gift = staying away from her. She is with somebody else for a reason, and it's not a gift if you complicate her life. You will complicate her life by stirring up something here. She is unavailable, so gifts are not appropriate.

i dont think you should buy her anything.. it would be disrespectful to her relationship.. if she knows how u feel then giving her space is a good gift. if she doesnt know how you feel let her know..(only put off until tomorrow what u are willind to die having left undone) after that back off!!!
