Does anyone know the symptoms of stomach ulcers? My stomach is getting huge, it used to be flat ~ I'm not pregnant and I have no clue why it's happening. I don't eat like a pig or anything, but looking at me you would think I'm 5 months along or something. It's gotten like this in the past few weeks.

I don't think this is an ulcer. In years past I have had duodenal and peptic ulcers. You will always feel hungry until you put some food in your stomach but the hunger pang will return shortly after eating (2 or 3 hrs). If you drink alcohol it burns very badly when it reaches the stomach. Indigestion is always present after a meal no matter how light you eat. There is sometimes a twitch or burn right below where your liver is located as well. You probably should see your primary care physician. Ulcers are caused by bacteria in the stomach. Not stress or chocolate or spicy food. These may aggravate it but will not cause an ulcer. Have you tried Zantac, or Prilosec? Give them a try and if you still have swelling it is most likely something else. I know that this is a sensitive subject but do you have a yeast infection? This will cause abdominal swelling in some cases. Good luck.

some horses will teach minor to average indicators of colic following food, and lasting for as a lot as an hour or so. even as the meal expands the tummy, it stretches the ulcerated tissue and produces discomfort. it would want to subside interior quarter-hour even as the tummy empties, or can linger somewhat longer. yet no matter if it really is said anytime the pony eats a meal, it really is going to be investigated. the pony may also teach sensitivity even as being cinched, would shed pounds, or have interaction in stereotypic or different behaviors like cribbing or pawing. some horses basically seem irritable or "off", or lackluster,
