chicken cacciatore... just pour on the tomato sauce and leave it on the stove for a few hrs... can make some red potatoes with it or put cartots inside. is very hearty, healthy, and relatively cheap (ramen and other cheap things are rarely healthy or hearty)

you dont have to do all of the work here... http://www.paesana.com/recipies.cfm?CatID=67513110

but this is one way to make it - i just pour on the sauce and let it simmer for the required time. it's really good and easy.

Chicken works for everything!

Just season, stick in a pan with some rice, potatoes, carrots, or whatever you want, and cook on 350 for an hour or so. Seasoning is easy- try salad dressing (just squirt some on top), onion soup mix, or any kind of condensed soup. You can get packets of marinade from the store too- 1$ or so a peice, and easy to use. They're much cheaper then using bottled marinade, and there is a ton of variety.

You may want to invest in a crock pot, too, if your cooking challanged. Its impossible to burn things, you can make as much or as little as you want, and you just throw in the ingredients and walk away for 4-8 hours, so you can have a hot dinner waiting when you get home from work. No stirring or attention needed. You can make killer stews, soups, roasts, ect. Try a beef stew- just throw in some beef cubes with a packet of onion soup mix (and water) and some canned potatoes, and dump in a package of frozen veggies when you get home. Its divine. Or take some chicken thighs, cover them with beer (sad, but worth it), throw in some onion and garlic along with some rosemary and oregano. Whatever you make, the meat just falls off the bone. You can get a crock pot for 20$ at walmart. Its well worth it.. they turn anyone into a gourmet cook, and almost any recipe can be adapted for a crock pot.

Allrecipes.com is an awesome place for easy recipes, too. You can search by ingredients you have or want to use, and it will give you recipes that use them. Good luck!

Ah, get one of Rachael Ray's cook books. Her recipes are quick and hearty. You could try her web site--www.rachaelrayshow. com. She got shopping lists and everything. At the grocery store there's all kinds of little cook books in the check out line. Look for casseroles. That way, if you aren't easily bored, you can cook once and eat several meals. Good luck. I just saw that Yahoo had easy dinner recipes, too.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNDGz

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Hello mate. (sorry - couldn't help that - I'm an American). One of the cheapest ways to make meals is to cut down on meat. Try beans and rice with maybe just a bit of sausage thrown in. You can get tons of cookbooks at the public library in the U.S. and I assume it's the same in Australia. Buying fresh food instead of canned is healthier in the long run - and it will make you happier.

The dude who suggested Top Ramen must be kidding. It has enough salt in it for like 3 days, tastes really boring and you will be sick of it in about a week....

Take several of your favorite brand of hot dogs and drop them into boiling water. Turn off heat and let stand for 3 minutes. While you're waiting, squirt some mustard and whatever else you like on some hot dog buns. Remove hot dogs and place them on the seasoned buns. Grab a bag of chips and a Coke, turn on the tube, and enjoy.
