I was driving in the Mojava Desert and stop to rest and unwind. I had my dog Bobby with me and my two kids. After we all got out of the car on the side of the road, we couldn't see nothing but sand for miles. Bobby seem like he was thirsty and hungry so I asked my son Jeffrey to put some food in a tin plate bowl we brought with us. I heard a loud blast or something that startled me and I remembered dropping my keys in the dogs bowl. My immediate concern was my kids so I didn't think about what I did then.
I never did find out where the blast came from. When it was time to leave quite naturally we couldn't. We all looked for the keys thinking that I was mistaken about the keys. But I never did find them. Fortunately, a trucker was coming up the road so we got a ride. I ended up taking Bobby to a vet and they finally came out naturally. My question is this: What if the trucker never did come up the road? And this became a question of survival. What would you do?

Always carry an extra set of keys with you. That way if something happens, you're able to at least start the car.

Another thing good to do is to leave an extra set with your mom, dad, or a relative you really trust. That way if something happens you still have a way to get an extra set made. Or if you've a cell phone, you can call them to come help.

We used to have a bosten Terrier that did something very comparable. What we did that fastened each thing become. A- stoped giving her treats except she become interior the crate. B- quite of having her circulate pee/poo out area and then right away to the crate. play along with her for kind of 15-20 min sturdy and tricky earlier having her circulate interior the crate, and the placed some treats interior the decrease back of the crate, so she has to willingly circulate interior the crate to get them. We additionally as quickly as we had a small "hickup" (she began growling plenty interior the crate) we've been given her a quite bigger crate, and made beneficial there become alot of padding on the bottem. So that's comffy. and placed the crate in a SMALL room like a showering room. %. up each and all the mats and make the floor as uncomfortable as achievable, so she needs interior the crate to be comffy. best factor isn't supply in, it must be a complication to scrub the crate on a daily basis in spite of the shown fact that that's worth it interior the long-term. additionally you have a bigger breed. make beneficial she is getting sufficient exercising, dont circulate one mile and assume considering which you're pooped that she is. save going untill she starts off walking slower. that's a difficulty my husband has with our Wiemeraner. He assums he's finished earlier he quite is tuckered out. sturdy good fortune!!! desire this helped some

So your question actually has nothing at all to do with pets.

What goes in must come out. I don't think it would be life or death to wait for your dog's next bowel movement. I don't think he really ate your keys, either, but that's just my opinion.
