Dachshunds and Glen of Imaal Terriers were both bred to hunt badgers. Both are great lil' dogs, too.

Daschunds were breed to hunt badger but any dog can and will fight and bite.
A dog breed to hunt something like a badger can be aggressive. They would have to be to hunt badgers.

look at puppyfind.com under the dog that you want and it will tell you their hunting or watchdog ability. My aunt and uncle have a sweet nice hunting golden retreiver.
