Those symptoms could absolutely be a result of a gluten intolerance or Celiac Disease. If you suspect this you will want to raise these concerns to your doctor immediately. Untreated celiac disease can cause cancer, osteoperosis, osteopenia, mental health issues, peripheral neuropathy, among others. Lactose intolerance can also be a symptom of CD. The lactose receptors are based on the villi in the intestines which Celiac Disease destroys. If the villi are flattened, you cannot process lactose, which makes you temporarily lactose intolerant. Please note that gluten is the protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and oats. Egg noodles and rye bread still contain high levels of gluten and are not safe for a gluten free diet. Check out www.celiac.com and www.glutenfreeforum.com for more information on Celiac and gluten intolerance.

Lactose intolerance is another problem altogether, but can occur at the same time.

And yes, it does sound like you might be gluten intolerant.

Do you get a rash when you eat anything with Gluten? You should go to the doctor's office and be tested for gluten and lactose allergies to be sure.
