i already know that in the UK it is legal to smoke, have sex and drive a tractor but does anyone else know of anything? please help

You can get married without parental consent in Scotland; leave school; work full-time; claim benefits; choose your own doctor, have beer, cider or wine with a meal in a pub, hotel, restaurant, etc; pay full-fare on buses and trains and I think you can buy premium bonds also.

The smoking age in UK is due to be raised to 18 sometime c2007, not sure when exactly.
Okay; at sixteen (sweet sixteen) a person can legally get married in UK. They can also have sex. A 16 year old boy can also join the British Army as a Junior Leader.
Not sure what else.

in the state of washington you can have sex legally at the age of 16. and drive cars. im not really sure

In the UK the only safe thing to do is breathe, but hold on, New Labour may tax that so you may have to pay your local council for the privilege.

in the US, you can't smoke or have sex untill 18, you can drive but not after 9, you can get a work permit, you can emancipate yourself. you can be charged as an adult for a major crime.

Be sent to jail. By 16 you are regarded as being culpable for your actions and punishable for those that fall outside of the law.

It will soon be illegal to Smoke - they are raising the age limit to 18 ... In Britain it will be illegal to do anything...without Big Brothers say so..
