Bird poo is rife with coccidia, and you don't vaccinate for that. If he starts getting the runs or bloody stools, you may need to take him to the vet and have a cocci test run.

I don't know about dogs, but in young livestock, it can be life threatening if left untreated, so I really would try hard to keep him from eating bird crap. Aside from health issues (bird flu ring a bell?) it's gonna make his breath NASTY!

This is gonna sound nasty, but poo contains nitrogen-fixing bacteria that puppies need to aid in their digestion. My dog ate horse-poo relentlessly, but the vet told me that it's normal and necessary. But goose-poo? Nah, not that stuff. Like the other respondent said, avian flu.

Agree with the others that this could be a danger to him. He may be mineral deficient also. That is a cause of poop-eating. Also, puppies will eat darn near anything so he may just be poop-curious.

dogs are dumb, dumb, but loveable, goose burgers are only the start, add cat and most others that are available, try to keep them away from the obvious gross stuff and give him a reason to eat other vittles, especially ones that have waterbred lines like labs and dobies/dalmatians

yes because they carry the avian flu. you should have him checked out by the vet and quit letting him eat it.
