to make the thing work i need to download a disc for it to work how do i get it off the net for free help im new at this

i presume you mean a all in one printer,well you can get drivers and software for hp all in one printers from http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-001&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_product=238445&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&cc=us
just start from the page i have given you and select the option that most suits your printer
you will then get to the download page and simply download the appropriate file to your hard drive
however if you want me to find it simply e-mail me the name and model of your printer and also your e-mail address and i will find the driver and e-mail it as a attachment or link
