Sign up to become an organ donor. When you die, other people get to live. can't beat that.
Work for someone like the samaritans, who save lives every day.
Just be a good neighbour.
Chanting means nothing. if you sit at home chanting instead of going out doing good, it won't help your karma.

By cultivating a mind that is altruistic (method) and one learning about (knowledge/wisdom) the realistic nature of everything (i.e. emtpy of inherent existence, or lacking labels or a permanent nature from a thing's own side such as emotions, or anything else in the universe).
KARMA and putting an end to the fruition of BAD KARMA is by realizing that whatever "suffering" you perceive is coming to you has causes and conditions, and therefore impermanent. If you can meet the fruition with patience, you *ping* eliminate the bad karma. Karma is about a "seed" which is a thing put in motion from the moment a charge fires up in your mind, which is either clinging, or aversion-laden to things you falsely perceive as "pleasureable" or "bad". As you gain knowledge you begin to learn how to "watch" your mind and how to "see" the changing, fleeting, impermanent nature of your mind and the thoughts which flit through (meditation basics), and then you learn how to SUBDUE (note I did NOT say get rid of) the emotions and clinging, etc. that charges the seed (bakchak) and sets it in motion to GROW. All seeds planted are all due to causes and conditions to come into being, and must have all the RIGHT things together at the right time to make it grow and once it grows (fruition) the result is ALWAYS bigger than the seed itself.
www.buddhanet.net or FPMT.org, etc. Buddhist sites that will start you on the path to both "tap" and "sherab" method and wisdom towards enlightenment and freedom from suffering. There are MANY other paths to this too! Zen, Bonpo... whatever works for you. Hope this helps

Yes I beleive in Karma but no matter what happens, spmething bad will still happen. All you do is stay out of things and answer questions lightly. Do that and things will be a little easier. You may want to go to buddist temples and do some praying. Buddism is not only a religion but good for the mind, and heart. When u do this you can make urself a better person more strongly than other things and be more calmer

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

Your karma is based entirely upon do and how you treat others!
The only way to improve your karma is to change your actions!
There is no God with karma. Karma is the engery that you generate by your actions. The engery you send out will be what comes back to you.
Cause and effect is another term for karma

I'm not sure about the chanting and healing stuff from Buddha, but if you do good things for others it will come back to you one hundred fold. But if you want to do evil things to people it will come back to hunt you. Therefore, what happened to you let it go, live the great life that you were promised and go on.

Do nice things for people and dont expect anything in return, and
rub your essence in a white candle and light it, meditate by it and your karma will lessen.
Examples: giving blankets to homeless people, volunteer at an animal shelter, volunteer at a fire department, work at a nursing home........

No I don't. Basically you need to step up and take control of your own life. Whatever your problem is you have to face it yourself.
If you want to do good deeds for people do them because you want to. Not to score brownie points with some invisble man in the sky or with nature and certainly not because you expect some kind of reward out of it. Because many times someone who needs help cannot or in some case will not repay you.
Remember the saying "Expecting the world to treat you nice because you're good is like expecting the bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian".

If you are a good person and do good things, then you are putting a positive energy into the universe so it'll come back to you.
