We believe that showing emotion shows weakness.

Pride..pure and simple....do women want an emotional man? Most of em....NOPE...sad really..but it's true. According to society the male is supposed to be the strong confident figure that doesn't falter under emotional stress, supposed to take charge and all that. Expressing their emotions n what not supposedly is 'feminine' which i think is straight up bullsh*t but that's how people make it out to be.

ALSO....rejection sucks....so in terms of attraction and affection again the pride issue comes into play cause why express your love and then get shut down because the woman thought you were too sensitive, or gay....or just because she just didnt' feel the same for you? Rejection hurts, even if it's done nicely.

I don't do it for the sake of honesty...well least my attraction, my emotinal side i do it cause it's just me, I don't need everyone to know about my feelings cause they dont' understand it...so i keep it to myself cause the only person that can solve or understand them is...welll...ME! Why get into a useless argument over how i feel when those people can't interpret it like i do?

but those are my 2 cents.

Because genuine guys are afraid of being rejected, and being broekn-hearted. We fear losing out and getting shoved to the back of the queue by over-confident, arrogant show offs, and also those with genuine feelings are worried about giving the girl they care about the wrong sort of attention.

Sorry if that is your experience, and belief. Don't take my word for it, they don't always hide their feelings, borrow the laces from one of their favourite shoes, and you will not only hear his feelings, you will also find out how good humoured he is when he See's the flower display tied together with... guess what?

Although many men probably do hide their feelings you should know that most of us don't.

We just don't feel the same level of emotion or drama that you do.

because guys are just not as emotional as girls. Guys generally hide their fear, nervousness, sadness and confusion even if it means making a complete *** out of ourselves down the road, its just the alpha male thing to do. Of course there are exceptions.... some guys flail their emotions just as much as females do... we just call them *******

They don't always do that. And not all of them. And the ones that do, never get the publicity. You just wouldn't want a man that is over emotional. Trust me.

Not all of them! I think it's because guys want to be seen in publicity like strong, untouchable beings, like nothing can make them cry,but look at them when they cut their finger, and when a few blood drops fall... They are gonna be worse than a baby...

Because the media tells us that men are supposed to be tough and macho - emotions portray the opposite

men aren't like women. if a women shows her feelings then its alright but for guys its a sign of weakness and they can't have that they think. also if they do they get made fun of by others.
