No - and this whole expiration date thing is something that's just come about the last few years. Sodas have been around for decades. Some people think the "expiration date" ploy is just a way for the soda companies to get you to buy more.

If it doesn't taste bad, drink it. The only things that are bad for you is the soda itself, and the fact that its in a plastic bottle, but aluminum is worse, and you would most certainly taste it.

truth study - the expiration date is even as the carbonation starts to lose its "fizz". The soda will flavor sweet yet haven't any bubbles. this is completely wonderful to drink, inspite of the indisputable fact that it's going to be flat.

its not an expiration date, its a "best by" date, which is 6 months past its bottling date, it won't get toxic or anything, but it will get flat and nasty tasting
