Well you could brush her more, so she does not get mats. And if she has bad mats you might want to take her to the vet because if they are really bad they might have to shave some of them. Hope I helped!

Brush her every day, and get her regularly groomed. They should be groomed every 6-8 weeks. You can keep the matting out of control if you're willing to put in the time needed to keep the knots out.

You chose a high maintenance dog. Break out the brush and get busy or take her to a groomer.
