Absolutely. If you are flying in the U.S. you have to take you laptop out of your bag and put it throught the X-Ray seperately when you go through security. This lets the officer get a good look at your laptop and reduces the chance that they have to look inside it.

Just you can bring laptops on the aircraft with you, in fact they suggest that you do. They are more likely to get damaged if they travel in your checked luggage.

yeah, this stuff is getting overrated, you can bring stuff on the plane but there IS a carry on weight limit. if these words arent enough call the airlines and ask
