or does anyone know what Sambuca is?, and if you like it or hate it tell me why,my friends think I am crazy for liking it and taking a shot or two of it, I need a good response to give to them if they ever give me crap about it.

I love the dark sambuca with a shot of bailey's irish cream sooo good.....awesome contrast to one another give it to all the naysayers and they'll shut right up

Wow, cool! Yep it's great, made from anise. Try black sambuca sometime, that will really freak your friends out!

My brother sent me a bottle of liquer from Turkey called Yeni Raki. Even better than sambuca. Looks pretty expensive though!

You must really love licorice. Sambuca is for someone who has refined taste.

I love it, I love the taste and I like to have a shot or two at night before I go to bed, it makes me feel warm inside and I can fall asleep easily. My husband likes it too.

I hate it,b/c it was the 1st thing I ever got drunk off of when I was like 14,and I spent hours and hours puking it up,so yeah I'll never touch it again!

I love it but I think mainly because I like licorice... can't help you on the response thing though, none of my friends like it either... they call me weird for it.

It is a unique flavor. i dont like it compared to most things, but my 88 year old grandma LOVES it, and she is not one to drink.

tell them it's old school, get it??
