So a very good friend and I kind of took our friendship a step further. We didn't have sex just making out and some petting. But when I called her the other day to ask her out to lunch, nothing big just wanted to grab some lunch and hang out, she said no she didn't think it was a good idea. Now she doesn't want to see me because she feels uncomfortable. I really don't understand I'm fine with just being friends. I don't know if I should just give her some space for a while and hope it blows over or what. Any advice from the peanut gallery?

Maybe she is being pressured by someone to not like you (family, friends) or maybe she found something out about you that she didn't like. YOu might not want to force yourself around her and just let it blow over.

By the way, I don't even like peanuts... ;)

Since you guys kissed she probably thinks that if you hang out again it will head in the same direction and she obviously doesn't want that. Did you tell her your cool with being just friends again ? Maybe if you take that pressure off things could go back to normal.

yes, definitely give her time. i am always worried that things will be weird after something like that happens, but to my surprise usually it's not. it does however take time to be ready to just face things the usual way. she may just have it weighing on her mind too much.
