The first Hershey bar was made in 1900. It cost 1 cent in 1930.

~~~a candy bar cost 5 cents. And they were bigger than they are today. But during WW2 with the sugar rations, the candy bar did get a little smaller, for the same price.

When I was a kid they were a nickle. So, I had to ask my 85 year old mother. They were 1 cent in 1930 and 2 cents by 1939. She should know.
