I pulled the muscle in my lower left leg after a long and vigorous workout even though I tried to stretch out afterwards. I'm on a school sports team and I've got to be up and running by tomorrow.

Ice it/heat it. Then stretch it some more. When you wake up tommorow, stretch again and ice/heat it. then before practice, stretch it really well. And go easy on yourself tommorow, or it could end up as something a lot worse.

Epsom salts (found in the first aid section) in warm water and a long soak. That's a great way to relieve sore muscles.

A warm bath and then some Ben Gay. But most importantly rest it.

Moist heat always worked for me. Try taking OTC drugs as tylenol ..
