Will she go into heat.?

I think my cat is sterile she is almost 1 yr old and hasnt gone thru a heat cycle.Do sterile cats go into heat?i dont mean spayed cats i mean cats who cant have babies>

i didnt say she was sterile.I think she might be sterile.

No. Sterile cats do not go into heat.

I am pretty sure they do, my mother inlaw had a ginger tabby female (rare usually male) and she was sterile however the male cats always tried to mate with her and they will only do that if they are inseason (heat).
Unless ure cat is an indoor cat u are best to still get her spayed as male cats that try to mate cause damage in the way of bites leading to absesses and these in the long run cause kidney damage.

Is it possible she's gone into heat without you noticing? Generally they are more vocal, rub on things, and arch their back more than usual, but I suppose a cat could go through it relatively symptom-free.

Some cats have silent heats, that is they go in heat but show no outward signs. You need to get this cat spayed asap for her health.

If she hasnt been spayed she should go through her cycles. If she is not there may be an underlying cause. A vet check may be a good idea, just to make sure she is ok.

I'm pretty sure that she will go into season, how do you know that she is sterile ? she could start any time now,
