I don't agree with them accepting pesos, because we are in America and that's not the currency. You can't do that in other country's so it shouldn't be done here(possibly in touristy areas); but you can exchange the pesos for dollars! I live in Texas and have never seen that anywhere so i'm actually surprised by that, I've never even seen that near any border cities. I'm not surprised that the workers are required to be bilingual, many teachers are required that here where I live, and if you look in the newspaper for a job it's a necessity. I grew up speaking english until 2nd grade and they enforced a spanish program (i'm only 17). And now to this day I can almost speak fluent spanish. I guess it's just something better to have today.

I heard that on the news. All of the Pizza Huts are doing it in the state of Texas. Feel sorry for the delivery people who has to figure out and count the amount needed. They say it is because there are so many people that have gone to Mexico and come back with pesos. It is easy enough to go to the bank and exchange it int US currency.

Ok dude... Texas is right in the border with Mexico, they accept Pesos in Texas also we accept Dollars in Tijuana and other Borders. Is just like Minnesota, mixes Canadian Dollars with US Dlls. Think about it..

Along the Texas Border some stores clientele are Mexicans that come for the day to shop...and go home ! As they have always done.Texas border stores accept the peso and on the Mexican side they accept the dollar. It is the way it has always been and will hopefully stay that way. The dollar is accepted in countries around the world. Northern states accept Canadian dollars. A little pizzeria near the Mexican border accepting Peso's is no different.

good for them, perhaps they travel frequently to Mexico and prefer to exchange their money that way. It is a service to their customers as well. A few Mexican stores that I have been to will change pesos for dollars and that was the reason they did it. It works for me since I travel there frequently and the airport doesnt give a good exchange rate.

WHAT?! This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, not the United States with Mexico. That means that our currency is the DOLLAR, not a peso.

How does this fit into immigration though?
