car wash, bake sale, dance, write to businesses that support the community if it's for a school thing write to businesses that donate to your school, set up a poster that explains why your fundraising and get permission from a store like Safeway or walmart or something to set up outside their doors then ask people for money

It depends what it is for. I'd say from school fundraising....1. selling those coupon books. The school made a fortune on them.
2. selling candy bars 3. car washes 4. cake/back sales.. That's all I can think of now.
