I just killed my first deer and want to use some of the meat for jerk..do u have any idea how with out buying a dehydrater

Slice thin, salt and pepper the heck out of the slices, put on a cookie sheet or grilling rack, and put in a pre-heated oven set at the lowest heat level. Keep a sharp eye on them.

I've tasted venison jerky done this way and it's great.

do it all the same way except put it in the oven uncovered on a cookie sheet at 200 deg F for about 6 to 10 hours

You could make a deer jerky by making her drink lots of coffee. Of course she might have a problem sleeping with all that caffeine.

theres a way to do it in the oven on a low heat ...not sure about the details but maybe google from there
