Has anyone ever heard of Roach Eggs on envelope glue? I just read that a woman licked an envelope and within weeks developed a large bump on her tongue, when they cut her tongue open a live roach crawled out... Is this possible, or is someone just trying to be gross?

I think it is an old urban legand. Creepy and gross, but make believe.

Sounds a little made up to me roach eggs are kinda big to not notice being licked. But the the little pest poop being licked is more likely. If you have live roaches coming out of your mouth you may need some real help on cleanliness!!!!

I have really heard about that. They say not to lick envelopes and stamps. Just to be safe I always wet a napkin and use it to moisten the envelopes and stamps. Better safe than sorry.

Once I was fasting and licked a hundred envelopes and I vomited whic rarely happens when I fast. So they now have self adhesive envelopes and stamps.

Well, you wouldn't have to care if you didn't lick envelope glue. Anyways, it tastes nasty and I wouldn't do it unless I had to.

I've heard similar stories, but truly believe that they are under the heading of "urban myth" and never really happed.
